Content Submission Guide
Everything you need to prepare and submit your work to the platform. Find your content type below and follow the checklist before sending.
Free vs. Paid Content
Every piece of content must be designated as either Free or Premium (Paid).
| Type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Free | Available to all users, including those without a subscription. Great for building your audience and gaining new followers. |
| Premium | Available only to paying subscribers. Premium content earns creator revenue share. |
Recommendation: Make your first one or two pieces free so new audiences can discover you, then publish additional work as premium.
Content Types We Accept
Content Type 1Books & Stories
Books and stories are read inside the app page by page with optional read-along audio. We offer two submission routes depending on how your content is prepared.
▶ Route A — Standard Submission
Use this route if your story pages exist as separate image files and you have the text typed out per page.

The cover is the first thing children see while browsing. Make it bright, bold, and character-focused.
Story Pages (required — one per page)

▶ Route B — Visual Bulk Upload
Use this route if your story already exists as a PDF or as a folder of multiple image files. This is the fastest route for illustrated books and graphic novels.
What to Prepare

How It Works
- PDF submissions: Our system automatically splits the PDF into individual pages. Any text already embedded is extracted automatically.
- Image submissions: Upload all page images at once. You can reorder, remove, or add pages after uploading.
- OCR text extraction: If your images contain visible text, our system can read and extract it. Let us know if you'd like this enabled.
- Landscape pages: Pages in landscape orientation can be automatically split into two portrait pages.
- Cover designation: You can mark any page as the cover image.
Interactive / Branching Stories (optional)
If your story has choices — e.g. "Turn to page 5 to go left, or page 8 to go right" — let us know. We support interactive branching stories where each page can have multiple choice buttons.
Language Variants
If you have the same story in multiple languages, submit them as variants of the same story. Let us know the parent story title and the language for each variant.
Content Type 2Videos
Animated films, educational videos, series episodes, and short films.

File upload only. We do not accept YouTube or Vimeo links — all video content must be submitted as a direct file upload.

Series / Episodes
If your video is part of a series: confirm the series name and provide the episode number.
Content Type 3Podcasts
Audio-only content: stories read aloud, educational shows, children's radio-style programmes.

Content Type 4Learn X Topics
Interactive educational lessons on animals, science, history, culture, and more.
Note: Learn X topics are available to all users regardless of subscription status.

How to Submit Your Content
- Prepare all files following the specs in the relevant section above.
- Name your files clearly — use the content title and page/track numbers where applicable (e.g.
lion-story-page01.png). - Send your files and completed details via the method provided by the CleanReadsHub team.
- Our team reviews, uploads, and links your content to your creator profile.
- You will be notified when your content is live.
General Guidelines
- File namesNo spaces — use hyphens:
my-story-cover.png - No watermarksDo not add watermarks — your creator credit appears automatically
- Original work onlyAll content must be your original creation or properly licensed
- RightsBy submitting, you confirm you hold the rights to publish on the CleanReadsHub Play platform
- LanguageEnglish is required for all content. Other languages are a bonus
